An urban regeneration district
New Milanese Polo for Design, Fashion and Sustainability
On the occasion of the 2019 Design Week, the Lambrate district hosts as events Lambrate Design District numerous events, exhibitions and installations (on a surface of over 13,000 square meters), promoting sustainability, innovation and creativity.
Lambrate District, born in 2017 from the will of all operators, from designers to architects, owners and managers of locations to commercial activities in the area, to come together to make the Lambrate district, the new Milanese Design Center, more attractive and smart. Art, Fashion, Sustainability, according to the Plans of the Territory and the schedule of events organized by the municipality of Milan.
The present “Widespread Workshop” coordinated by the “Lambrate Design District” is articulated during Design Week 2019 (9-14 April) in three synergetic events located in strategic locations of Lambrate, to take stock of both policy projects and urban regeneration in neighborhood, both on the innovations and advances in design in the Fuorisalone 2019, and on the sustainability prospects for a smart development of the Lambrate district.
